Central Córdoba Defeats Belgrano 4-0 in A Dominant Win

Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero had a commanding match against Belgrano de Córdoba in the sixth round of the 2025 Apertura Tournament, winning with a decisive 4-0. The home team showed superiority from the start and dominated the game from beginning to end.

In the first half, Central Córdoba extended the lead with a header from José Florentín after a corner kick, bringing the score to 2-0. Despite a single clear opportunity for Belgrano at the feet of Franco Jara, who failed to capitalize, Zielinski's team could not find the way to the goal.

The second half started in the worst way for Belgrano, as Gabriel Compagnucci received a second yellow card after 12 minutes, leaving his team with 10 players, further complicating the situation. Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, Central Córdoba scored two more goals: Lautaro Rivero netted after a corner taken by Luis Miguel Angulo, and the final touch to the rout came with a goal from Diego Barrera inside the area.

With this victory, the team led by Omar de Felippe establishes itself as a contender in the tournament snatching the first place in Zone A from Estudiantes de La Plata. On the other hand, Belgrano sinks into a crisis, and Zielinski, in his return to the team, left visibly concerned, aware of the work he has ahead to reverse the situation.

Central Córdoba is placed in twelfth position with five points and only one match won so far, showing a standout level in the championship and highlighting the weaknesses of their rival in this convincing match.
